Year 5 Trip to Tate Modern

Year 5 children went on an inspiring trip to the Tate Modern art gallery, where they explored world-class artwork spanning multiple generations. The children enjoyed the elongated bronze sculptures of Alberto Giacometti and the bold, revolutionary shapes of Pablo Picasso.
They were particularly captivated by the powerful, immersive performance and installation art of contemporary artist Nora Chipaumire. It was a fantastic day filled with creativity, curiosity, and brilliant questions that truly brought their art curriculum to life. Yusuf said “I’m glad we came here because there are so many rooms with so many things to look at and art comes from all over the world.”
