Year 5 had a fantastic start to the term with an inspiring visit to The Courtauld Gallery on Wednesday 16th September. The children immersed themselves in the world of art and were inspired for their art project.

They explored the gallery’s impressive collection and had the exciting opportunity to see famous artwork by Vincent van Gogh and Claude Monet close up. They took part in a hands-on workshop where they developed their observation, sketching and artistic skills. 

It was a memorable day that encouraged the children to look closely, ask questions and be inspired by the artists. We can't wait to see how they bring their experiences to their own artwork.
