TTLT Spelling Competition 2018

Last Friday, Ranelagh held its annual final of the spelling competition. After many rounds of spelling over 100 difficult words, Ms Tsui and Ms Scott found the final four- Diamond, Gabriel , Manar and Sarisha.

The four of them competed against each other with words such as hyperventilate, philosophical and conceited.

The audience were able to join in, sitting in anticipation of whether they chose the correct spelling rule.

It was neck and neck, but then Sarisha and Diamond were knocked out on points. Then there were 2, Gabriel and Manar were asked to spell vengeance. Manar forgot the ‘a’ and the winner was Gabriel.

All four of them will represent Ranelagh at the grand TTLT Spelling Final on 2nd March, here at Ranelagh.
