Celebrating Everyday Heroes

Children from Ranelagh and North Beckton Primary School were part of a Art Project called `Celebrating Everyday Heroes’ and worked with an art based organisation called Paint The Change. The brilliant opportunity allowed children to work with artist Matt Dufour and Poet Mr Gee to create artwork that will be showcased outside Alice Bilings house in Stratford.

Children were given a task to create a poem and then paint someone that they admired or a person who influenced them in their lives. The project allowed  children to celebrate everyday heroes such as teachers, nurses, doctors, parents, relatives and social workers in two art workshops at the school.

This is the 2nd year Ranelagh has worked with Paint the Change . Please see last years work on their website https://www.paintthechange.me/the-one-i-admire
