Jubilee Joy at the Hackney Empire!

What an unforgettable evening! On Tuesday 23rd June, children in Year 4 took to the historic stage at the Hackney Empire for the annual Festival of Voices. Not even the summer heatwave could dampen their spirits, or their voices,as the children sang their hearts out. This year’s theme was Jubilee Joy, and the energy in the theatre was absolutely electric from the very first note. The show kicked off with a magnificent performance of the Festival of Voices song, composed by our very own Mr. Murdoch, followed by  There’s No Place Like London.

Ranelagh and Curwen spread pure joy with their moving performances of Everlasting Love and Pipes of Peace. The absolute highlight was the unforgettable experience of singing alongside a live band. Seeing our children perform with such passion made this year extra special.

A massive thank you to all the staff who made this event possible, and to the parents, for your continued support and enthusiasm in the audience. The children were absolute superstars and we could not be prouder of their performance. They truly brought joy!
