Year 3 had an unforgettable visit to the British Museum as part of their Ancient Egypt topic. The children were amazed to see real artefacts they had been learning about in class, bringing history to life before their eyes.

One child excitedly said, “I feel like I am in Ancient Egyptian times with all the pharaohs and artefacts around me!” The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the mummy gallery, which fascinated everyone and quickly became the favourite part of the visit.

It was a fantastic day of discovery, curiosity and excitement, helping our young historians deepen their understanding of one of the world’s most fascinating ancient civilisations.
