Ranelagh Action Projects 2026–Because Tomorrow Matters! 🌴🌳🌿💧🍃

This term, every year the group took on a unique challenge; to tackle real-world issues. T only did they developed their geographical knowledge but also raised global awareness through their Action Projects.
Across the school, children learned that their voices matter and that they can take action to tackle global challenges—because tomorrow truly matters! In reception and nursery, children learned that recycling and reusing matters. They recycled household packaging into handmade junk-model toys. KS1 learned about ocean pollution and built sea creature sculptures to highlight ocean plastic pollution.

Years 3 and 4 focused on land conservation through songs about sustainable palm oil and hands-on seed planting to understand desertification. In Year 5 Responded to natural disasters and wrote directly to UK government ministers about natural disaster prevention. Year 6 launched a local petition to improve our own Newham community.
