Ranelagh Hits the Right Note
On Wednesday July 5th the roof was raised to the sound of joyous song as the whole school joined together to celebrate the end of yet another successful year at Ranelagh.
The concert began with Year 5 belting out a wonderful rendition of ELO's 1977 smash hit 'Mr Blue Sky,' followed by Year 1 singing 'Waving Flag' by K'naan. Year 4, voices trained and ready for their upcoming Festival of Voices performance, sang 'One Love' by Bob Marley and Reception dedicated their song, 'Wonder' by Emile Sande, to Year 6.

Year 3 raised the energy levels with their electric performance of Shakira's 'Waka Waka,' dancing and twisting all the way through. Year 2 reminded us of with importance of friendship, singing Bill Withers' 'Lean on Me.' Nursery followed, singing 'Busy Body' and Year 6 brought down the house, giving us a taste of the upcoming show, singing 'Celebrate.'
The show had parents, staff and children singing along all the way through, and was another great success. Thank you to all the parents who supported this fabulous event.
